Shakti Samuha is the world’s first organization established and run by survivors of human trafficking. Founded in 1996 by women who had themselves been trafficked and later rescued, the organization exists to ensure that no survivor is left without support, dignity, or opportunity.

Today, Shakti Samuha stands as a powerful voice against trafficking: supporting survivors, protecting those at risk, and advocating for systemic change across Nepal.
