Women Rehabilitation Center in Sindhupalchowk

Shakti Samuha is a campaigner against human trafficking in Nepal. Migration, trafficking, smuggling, safe migration are the indivisible issue of mobility. Mobility is right of people. With the phase of development, mobility is highly increasing. Nepal is source country of labor migration. Recent trend shows trafficking is emerged as new challenge with change in its dimension. Number of cases on labor migration and trafficking are reported through media, organization working in migration & national reports. So, following is the issue to be addressed under this grant related with trafficking & labor migration:

In agreement with government of Nepal, we are conducting Women Rehabilitation Center in Sindhupalchowk district. To meet the National Minimum Standards for Women Rehabilitation Center, brought by GoN, We have expanded services and equipped the Rehabilitation center with support from Global Fund For Women (GFW).

The objective of this project is to run Women Rehabilitation Center meeting the national minimum standards.
