Prevention and empowerment of children at high risk and women/survivors of human trafficking on anti human trafficking and child protection issues
The overall objective of the project is communities including women, adolescents and children acquired knowledge, attitudes, and practices to protect and take appropriate action to protect women, adolescents and children at high risk or survivors/victims of trafficking. And covering two components-
- Community mobilization to prevent children and women from human trafficking along with developing effective coordination with local stakeholders on strengthening child protection system and anti-human trafficking issues.
- Provisions of services children and women at risk/survivors of trafficking have access to appropriate services as well as local level resources.

Supported By: Target beneficiaries: Unicef and Shakti Samuha intent to reach at least 1140 direct beneficiaries in Sindhuli, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, Rasuwa, Makawanpur, Dhading, and Gorkha district of Nepal. The estimated numbers are: – 420 Adolescents – 150 government officials in 5 districts – 120 teachers in 6 districts – 450 Rural municipality/municipality/metropolitan city/ sub-metropolitan city committee members etc.
