Annual general assembly of Shakti Samuha has been conducted on 29th December 2016 in Kathmandu.
In the program (chief guest Human Rights Defender) Mr. Subodh raj Pyakurel, (special guest, women activist) Ms. Anuradha Koirala, (president of AATWIN) Ms. Mina Bista, (founder member of SS and central member of NGO federation Nepal) Ms. Sunita Danuwar, (advisor of Shakti Samuha) Ms. Bhagawati Nepal, Mr. Tanka Panta, (press advisor) Mr. Matrika Paudel, (president of Ghost Writing Nepal) Mr Kamal Dhakal had given best wishes for the success of 16th Annual General Assembly of Shakti Samuha.
After the first session, Shakti Samuha successfully conducted the interaction program with the trafficking survivor members on the issue of “Reintegration of the trafficking survivor women”. Survivors had shared that they are still facing different challenges and problems in the community; they have focused on following for the effective reintegration of the survivors. Sunita Danuwar and Charimaya Tamang also focused on the needs of the reintegration guidelines for the quality and effective reintegration. In the close session, Ms Rina BK (secretary of executive board) had presented the progress report to the members. The Interaction program was facilitated by Ms Sunita Danuwar and Ms Charimaya Tamang. The program was chaired by the president of Shakti Samuha, Ms Balkumari Rana Magar.
