Handicraft Workshop

The Shakti Handy Craft Workshop is a workshop organized by Shakti Samuha for trafficking survivors of our safe Shelter homes based in Kathmandu. The girls and women get trained to make jewelry, scarfs, woolen muffler, hair clip, bangle, etc by the member who got training in Japan. The products get exported to the US and Japan. We are selling these products to visitors too who will visit our workshop. The money that is earned in this workshop is divided between the women and girls who work there and the amount of money they need to finance this workshop and buy new materials. We are providing this training to our beneficiaries (trafficking survivor) who cannot get job in outside easily and this training help them to come out of trauma.
